Join us Saturday July 12th from 10-11:30 when Dr Jeannie Constantinou will give us our second in the adult catechism series “Acquiring the Mind of the Church”.
Dr Jeannie Constantinou will discuss how Orthodox interpret the scriptures (hermeneutics) ; whether we interpret literally; how we are to understand the voice and perspective of the Psalms; and how we approach the bible as Orthodox rather than evangelicals!
Dr and Presbytera Jeannie Constantinou is a biblical scholar and professor at the University of San Diego and hosts a program on Ancient Faith Radio, “Search the Scriptures”. She is a popular and entertaining speaker.
