BOOKSTORE: The Kh. Lynn Bookstore is open Sundays after Divine Liturgy and by appointment. It is stocked with Orthodox books for children and adults; altar supplies for the home, icons, cards, jewelry, gifts, and more.
CHURCH SCHOOL: St. Barnabas Orthodox Christian Education is designed to teach our children the Holy Orthodox faith. We nurture the children towards a life of communion with the Holy Trinity and as witness-bearers to God’s love and redeeming work. Classes are held during Sunday Matins and serve our youth, ages 3-18.
FLOWER MINISTRY: St. Barnabas has fresh flower arrangements each week. The creative arrangements beautify the sanctuary and enhance the iconostasis.
MISSIONARIES and MORE: The Missionaries and More team maintains friendships with missionaries overseas and updates the parish on the various charities it supports. Currently, the parish contributes funds to the missionary efforts of the Hoppe family in Albania and the Jones family in Fiji. https://www.ocmc.org/how-we-serve/missionaries

MONTHLY FOOD DRIVE: For over 35 years, St. Barnabas has collected food, clothing, and hygiene items for the homeless and less fortunate in our community. Someone Cares Soup Kitchen — https://someonecareskitchen.org
MUSIC MINISTRIES: The music ministry leads the parishioners of St. Barnabas in hymns and praises and comprises two parts: the choir and the chanters. The blend of song and chant gives Orthodox worship a unique depth. Our music is acapella because the human voice is the most beautiful of all instruments.
PROSPHORA: The baking of special bread loaves is needed each week for Holy Communion.
READERS: The Epistle is read aloud by one of the Readers during the Divine Liturgy. Preceding the Gospel, a man, woman, or child (during youth month) reads the day’s passage to the whole church.
WELCOMING COMMITTEES: St. Barnabas has three parts under this ministry: Greeters. Ushers, and Red Cloth. The Greeters welcome newcomers and parishioners at the front door and hand out the weekly bulletin. The Ushers assist visitors and parishioners in finding seats, distributing service books as needed, and guiding the communion line. The Red Cloth ministry participants assist the priest and deacons by holding the cloth for communicants during Holy Communion.
