Welcome to St. Barnabas Orthodox Church, a parish within the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America.
The Orthodox Church is the oldest Christian Church in the world, founded by Jesus Christ, with its beginnings chronicled in the New Testament. The Patriarchate of Antioch was established in 34 A.D. by Saint Peter and Saint Paul, and St. Barnabas Orthodox Church of Costa Mesa can be traced back to its root.
We invite you to experience Orthodoxy by joining us for liturgical services. Our parish comprises lifelong Orthodox Christians raised in the faith, converts who have journeyed from other Christian traditions, and parishioners with no former church background.
On Sundays, in the spring and fall of each year, we hold classes teaching the Orthodox Faith to the catechumens, to the curious, and as a refresher course for our congregants.
Each week after the Divine Liturgy, we host coffee hour in our fellowship hall; please join us.
